Role Overview
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help drive business decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, create dashboards, and provide actionable insights that improve performance and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at turning data into clear, meaningful recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives.
- Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support A/B testing, campaign analysis, and performance measurement initiatives.
- Prepare and present data findings in a clear, actionable format for both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with company standards.
- Work with engineering and product teams to optimize data pipelines and reporting processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets for data modeling and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and tools (e.g., R, Python, or SAS) is a plus.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, or cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) is an advantage.
