As part of a growing team, you’ll also mentor a junior sales and marketing representative, ensuring consistent outreach and professional development while maintaining a strong, scalable sales process that supports Valus.io’s growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
As the Business Growth Lead at Valus.io, you will own the end-to-end sales process, from identifying prospects and initiating outreach to closing qualified opportunities and nurturing long-term relationships. You will actively hunt for potential clients, arrange discovery meetings, and deliver tailored product demonstrations that highlight how Valus.io solves real business challenges. Collaborating closely with marketing, you’ll refine outreach strategies, improve conversion flows, and maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline. Part of your role will also include mentoring and guiding a junior sales and marketing representative, helping them develop their outreach and client engagement skills. Through consistent follow-ups and strategic communication, you’ll ensure every lead experiences a smooth and professional journey that strengthens Valus.io’s reputation and drives growth across our SaaS customer base.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B SaaS sales, with at least four years of experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. You bring excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences confidently. A solid understanding of CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar tools is essential, along with a data-driven mindset for tracking performance and optimizing outreach. You should be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where autonomy and initiative are valued. A genuine curiosity for technology and the ability to translate complex product features into clear business value will set you apart.
