Role Overview
The Marketing CRM Specialist – Braze is responsible for managing, executing, and optimizing customer engagement campaigns using the Braze platform. This role requires a strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, data-driven segmentation, and personalization strategies to deliver impactful customer journeys. The specialist will work closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to maximize customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, push, in-app, SMS) using the Braze platform.
- Develop audience segmentation strategies based on behavioral and demographic data.
- Implement personalization and dynamic content to improve customer experience and campaign performance.
- Collaborate with product, growth, and data teams to align lifecycle marketing with business goals.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize engagement and retention.
- Maintain Braze configurations including event tracking, user attributes, and custom data integrations.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email marketing regulations.
- Support A/B and multivariate testing to continuously improve messaging effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience with the Braze platform (required).
- Proficiency in building and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies.
- Experience with SQL, APIs, or data integration tools is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights-based decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
